this is my tree. it’s maybe a mile from our house, we have to pass it every time we go anywhere. i don’t remember exactly when i decided it was mine, but it’s always been something i noticed when going to or from the lakehouse. i have lots of pictures of it from many different times of the year. i need to go thru and find the rest of them, i’d like to see its progression over time. 
the bird to the left of the tree is a scissortail fly catcher — my favorite bird (oklahoma’s state bird). 
it just always looks so lovely in that field.
